Scott Shapiro
Scott Shapiro is a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer of Poppy Bank, a commercial bank based in Santa Rosa, CA. He joined Poppy in 2015 and has been part of the growth of the Bank from $800 million to now over $4.25 billion in total assets. Mr. Shapiro has originated over $400 million in total transactions during that time and manages a portfolio over $450 million. He specializes in all types of commercial lending including: real estate acquisition/refinance/construction and commercial lending to businesses across a variety of industries. He has spent 20+ years in the commercial finance industry covering business lending, debt placement, and M&A advisory.
Scott was a graduate of Boston College with a BS in Finance and Information Systems while also interning with Fleet Bank (now BofA) during that time. He has previously served on the Board & Finance Committee of the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County as well as the Finance Committee of The Presentation School. He also a Board Member and Treasurer of a charitable foundation based in Sonoma County.
Scott and his wife live in Sonoma, CA with their two sons who attend Presentation and in his free time, he enjoys playing golf and coaching his kids’ various sports teams.
