Jessica Cuneo, PhD
Chairperson
Jessica is a licensed clinical psychologist and currently works as a field medical scientist at Alkermes, a biopharmaceutical company. She serves as a bridge between medical affairs/R&D and key experts who specialize in schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and addiction. Her role provides scientific support by educating on company pipeline and clinical data and identifies treatment gaps for improving patient care to guide medical strategy/future research. Jessica received her PhD in clinical psychology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UC San Diego Medical Center/VA Healthcare System. Prior to her current position, she was a clinician and researcher on faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSD.
Although a California native, Jessica spent her late childhood growing up in a small ski town in Idaho where she discovered her affinity for the outdoors, adventurous lifestyle, and local community. Jessica’s husband, Joe, a fourth generation Sonoma native, introduced her to his hometown and, with the arrival of their first son, they relocated to Sonoma where they now raise their three children Charlie, Frankie, and Jonny, all students of TPS.
