Student Council

About Student Council

Our Student Council is made up of elective officers and representatives in 6th - 8th grades. Our officers are elected annually by students and are composed of two co-presidents, a treasurer, and secretary. Each middle school class has multiple elected representatives and representatives are elected quarterly.

Student Council is the lead student organization to solicit student feedback by the administration. They have advised and helped author school policies such as the uniform policy and dance dress code. Student Council is advised by Mrs. Mora who is known to be an enthusiastic mentor, teacher, and phenomenal DJ!

Keaton Abodeely 25'

Student Council President

My name is Keaton Abodeely, and I have been a Presentation Patriot since I started Kindergarten 9 years ago. As I begin my final year, I am thrilled, committed, and grateful to serve as Student Council President. I am so lucky to be working alongside such a strong group of student and faculty leaders to make it an incredible year. One thing I learned to embrace over the 9 years is, “lead by example”. This school has given me amazing opportunities, education, and support, and I am ready to give back! I commit to lead by example not only in classrooms but also in our tight tightly-connected community. Something I’m excited to make happen are community outreach, student belonging workshops, and fun and exciting events! My two main goals this school year are to make sure that students feel their ideas are being heard and to teach each TPS student that they have a powerful voice. I am committed to make sure the student council is the best and most successful it can be for this school. Let’s make this the best year yet!

Last school year I served as the student council secretary and I made so many memories and had an amazing time. I have always loved helping my community and trying to improve it each and every year. One of my goals this year is to hear from students and faculties ideas to make this school year the best it can be. I am looking forward to this year with all the fun and exciting events the student council will be hosting. I can’t wait to make this school year great!
